Shortlisted for national think tank award
I find this sort of thing a little uncomfortable but I guess it’s nice to have my efforts recognised…
The award is from the national think tank called the LGIU. It’s a widely respected body which reports, researches and challenges public policy.
The basis of the award that I’m shortlisted for is around public sector partnerships and improving the quality of services.
It focuses mainly on the work across Staffordshire to bring NHS, Healthcare and Social Care organisations together and also the Engaging Communities Staffordshire development.
The winner will come from the shortlist of five and will be announced at an event in Westminster in a couple of weeks.

I should like to say that it is great that your efforts are being rewarded. You have taken on a very difficult role which you perform with a passion and determination to get things right, we are now starting to see the fruits of your endeavours. So now is the time that you should get some credit .This is from a group who value your support and ideas.
Matthew, congratulations on this you deserve it. I read your website with interest and am constantly surprised at the scale of work that goes on locally. The media would portrays that the only important work goes on nationally which is clearly not the case. Very illuminating and good luck.
