A wonderful few days with a dozen different events that flew the flag for the UK and Her Majesty the Queen

The Jubilee Fund I established for all parish councils as part of my Local Community Fund was well received and most of the dozen parishes in my area applied in some form or another. So that’s good.

The funding I provided was used towards all sorts from garden parties to Jubilee Medals and parades to commemorative ‘things’. Schools, local community bodies and parish councils themselves organised what was happening and it really was a tremendous fun if somewhat hectic.

The Jubilee, from local events to to the national concerts and pagents, was a real moment to be proud of the UK and being British. Lovely!
