Big turnout for Clifton litterpick

A busy day yesterday. Whittington for some campaigning in the morning and then a dash back home via Waitrose so I could make a start on cooking clifton-litter-pickfor the dinner party we had last night.  And then, in between making the main course and the ‘pud’, over to Clifton Campville to see some locals who were doing a litterpick in the village yesterday afternoon.

I got there in time to see over a dozen large bin bags filled with rubbish thrown from cars and had a chat with some of the ninety, yes, ninety, local people who’d turned out to clean up the country lanes around Clifton. They’d done this once before but the number of people who took part this time was extraordinary.

An excellent example of great community spirit and it was good to see some younger members of the community doing their bit too. Well done Clifton!

Hi Matthew
I designed and manufactured the Litter Pick badges for this event. So pleased it was a stomping success and that the badges went down well. Our badge business COLOURFIELD, is just starting out so we need all the encouragement we can get at the moment. Will mail you our current promo, with elections soon to come it may be of interest.
