Big crowds on a warm day

It’s becoming a bit of a tradition and, barring weather disasters, is getting bigger and bigger and more successful each year.

Organised again by the very busy parish council of Whittington and Fisherwick, the day raises money for local groups and causes.

It started a few years ago and last Saturday, when Cath and I went along to have a look, itwas clear they’d got the organisation pretty slick and very professional.

An amazing array of attractions from animal displays, vintage cars and dozens of stalls to demonstrations of traditional country crafts, local produce and giant tractor rides.
