New services at Link office in Fazeley soon

A Police office in there, it’s used more by the community and now a raft of new services are on the way…

It’s been a battle but I’m delighted that the spector and rumour of closure hanging over the Mill Lane Link office at Fazeley has been lifted with Lichfield District Council deciding not to sell the property.

This is good news and now hopefully locals will use the facilities more than in the past. But the use has grown tremendously since its days as the local ‘rent office’.

A part time police office meaning local officers are in the area more than before, regular events like the excellent local older people’s lunch which takes place Mondays and now the County are providing some money for the District Council to make improvements to the building so that a range of Children and Parent services can be delivered from the building.
