Local community groups, voluntary organisations and parish Councils can have a website and hosting and help to set it up for no charge at all…
It’s called eVoice and is a national project to encourage local community activities.
I am personally pleased as it is the result of a workstream from the International Centre of Excellence for Local eDemocracy (ICELE)… and that’s the UK Gov/UN Partnership body I chaired 2 years ago.
eVoice for local community groups is growing nicely across the country as more and more local councils adopt it and they pay the small subscription cost on behalf of the local area.
It’s good to see that Lichfield District Council are offering the FREE service to local groups and parish councils.
